Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’s grapple gun works much like the one used by the Specialist Ruin in Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 and 4. The gadget sees players aiming at a surface, with the hook, then letting go of the aim button once they have decided where they want to go. They will then latch onto the surface in front of them, flying forward with ease....

Nathan Fletcher, who chairs the county’s board of supervisors, released a statement Wednesday after the vote identifying San Diego as the first county in the U.S. to approve such a declaration. “Combatting health misinformation needs to start on the ground, in counties and cities across our nation,” Fletcher’s statement said....

A Thursday report from California State Auditor Elaine Howle said that the Employment Development Department (EDD) was severely underprepared to combat fraud and did nothing to stop paying fake claims for months. So far, the state has paid at least $10.4 billion to fraudsters, with an additional $20 billion under review. Cesar Palma and his daughter Selena were travelling on a Metro train to the Westlake area of Los Angeles when they were allegedly first approached by a man named by police as Elijah John Lopez who was sitting nearby. Police say Lopez asked if he could take the girl home and several other train passengers intervened and told Lopez to leave the two alone, say police. When they got off the train at the 7th Street Metro station downtown, detectives say Lopez began hassling them again prompting bystanders to defend the pair....
