The final round began under overcast skies at Augusta National with Cabrera, the 2009 Masters champion from Argentina, and American Snedeker, a winner this year at Pebble Beach with three other top-three efforts, in the final pairing. Cabrera and Snedeker stood on seven-under par 209 after 54 holes, one stroke ahead of Australian Adam Scott with Aussies Jason Day and Marc Leishman on 211, American Matt Kuchar on 212 and Woods and South African Tim Clark on 213....

COVID-19 case rates in California have increased 47% since Thanksgiving, according to the California Department of Public Health (CDPH). To curb the spread of both Delta and Omicron, the CDPH also recommended that all travelers arriving in California test for COVID-19 within three to five days after arrival regardless of vaccination status. Additionally, unvaccinated people are required to show a negative rapid test within one day of a “mega event,” or a negative PCR test within two days prior to the event....

Joe Montes, 71, is accused of murdering 49-year-old Darlene Montes at an address in Rancho Cucamonga on the morning of September 16. At around 8:30 a.m., the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department were dispatched to 6300 block of Elkridge Place, after a man had called to say that he had stabbed his daughter. When deputies arrived at the scene, they found Darlene Montes suffering from multiple stab wounds. She was taken by ambulance to San Antonio Community Hospital, but later died from her injuries....

Aditya Singh, 36, reportedly told police he was too afraid to fly back to his home state over fears of contracting COVID-19. He had been hiding in a concealed area for three months before he was finally discovered on Saturday. Singh arrived at O’Hare on a flight from Los Angeles on October 19 and had lived in the airport’s security zone ever since, prosecutors allege. It was only when two United Airlines employees approached Singh and asked to see his identification that he was finally caught out....

Andrew Marnell, 41, of Los Angeles admitted to fraudulently obtaining seven Payroll Protection Program (PPP) loans that he acquired after making numerous false and misleading statements about corporations he controlled, according to court documents. In the program applications, Marnell misrepresented companies’ business operations and payroll expenses, often using aliases and altered documents including “bogus” federal tax filings and employee payroll records. After obtaining money from his scheme, Marnell transferred millions of dollars in COVID relief loans to his brokerage accounts to make “risky stock market bets” and spent hundreds of thousands of dollars gambling including at a Las Vegas casino, according to the DOJ....

Pan, also a pediatrician, introduced the proposal during a press conference at Arleta High School in Los Angeles, the press release said. On the unofficial side, a posting on the Activision forums is earning a lot of attention for containing what may be leaked details about the multiplayer features and changes coming to Call of Duty: Black Ops 2. What makes this especially interesting is that Activision immediately killed the thread....

As announced on Reddit, Operation Dark Divide will be released for the PlayStation 4 version of the game on Monday, September 23, bringing with it new content and gear based on the theme of “superheroes vs. villains.” The update will also see the release of the final two maps exclusive to the Black Ops Pass as well as the conclusion to the current Zombies storyline “Tag der Toten.” Beyond this information, details are sparse....

Intriguingly, the Flamethrower scorestreak was leaked by Treyarch itself back in Season 1. While promoting the return of the iconic multiplayer map Raid, an official screenshot was released that saw a player burning an enemy by the map’s pool. Ever since that screenshot made the rounds, fans have been expecting to see the Flamethrower added to their arsenals. Now, nearly eight months later, it will finally be making its debut in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War....

Treyarch introduced Firebase Z as a new option for players after Die Maschine was rampantly picked as the go-to zombies map in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. Additionally, the Firebase Z map comes with a new Wonder Weapon, the RAI K-84. There are two possible ways for players to acquire the RAI K-84 Wonder Weapon in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. They are: Obtain the RAI K-84 from the in-game Mystery BoxBuild the RAI K-84 by using the Wonder Weapon’s blueprint....

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War players have a few options when it comes to unlocking the Vargo 52, though one is significantly quicker than the other. In multiplayer, gamers need to deal 1,000 damage with Assault Rifles in 15 games. Asked by a fan on Twitter in the wake of yesterday’s big reveal, Infinity Ward confirmed that the game is not being developed for the PlayStation 3. While there’s no specific confirmation that the Xbox 360 is also being left in the cold, neither console has been mentioned in any marketing materials released so far. This news shouldn’t be too surprising to fans of the Call of Duty series. Last year’s instalment — the well-received Black Ops III, developed by Treyarch — did see an Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 release, but that version of the game didn’t include its campaign mode....

The intuitive controls and nostalgic maps and characters combined with its portability and accessibility made for a great experience, but it was lacking one thing: zombies.
