In addition to new game modes like the 200 player Warzone Quads, Reloaded also added a new map to the multiplayer portions of the game. Cheshire Park is a fictional location in London, England and is more of a traditional 6v6 three lane map. Players have begun to discover that this map also holds a fair bit of secrets including a peculiar Easter egg.

Here’s how to find and complete the multi-step Easter egg on the Cheshire Park map in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.
This latest Call of Duty Easter egg relates heavily to the Pied Piper, a character of legend that helped lead rats out of the Germanic town of Hamelin with a magic pipe. Coincidentally, there’s a statue in the center of the Cheshire Park map with just such a figure. Players should start this quest there.
Mouse Traps
Next, players will need to shoot five mouse traps that are scattered around the map. Unfortunately, these appear to spawn at random, meaning that each time the map loads, the traps will be in different spots. They can also only be shot one at a time, with the next one spawning after the one before it is destroyed.
Thankfully, there are a few places that these traps tend to appear more often than others so players should start their investigations on floors that are near doorways or trash cans.
Take the Cheese
Once all five mouse traps have been destroyed, the next step is to grab the small piece of cheese that appears once the fifth mouse trap has been shot. At this point, a random cheese wheel spawns in a random location on the map. Find the cheese wheel and bring it back to the Pied Piper statue at the middle of the map.
Make the Offering
Back at the statue, a prompt should appear that lets the player give the cheese wheel to the statue. Once placed at the foot of the statue, candles will begin to spawn all over the stone near the Pied Piper figure. With the cheese in hand, the Piper status begins to play his flute which will call numerous rats to the middle of the map. They begin to circle around it until they suddenly stop and then pop into confetti and colored paint.
While it doesn’t ultimately lead to any gameplay advantages, it’s just another fun little thing to do in the game. Infinity Ward has been known to add these little moments into Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, such as another similar Easter egg on the Aisle 9 map that revealed the last roll of toilet paper.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is available now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
