Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War launched Season 1 yesterday, and players jumped into an integrated Warzone for the first time. As players enjoyed the new Season 1 content, developers have spent their time fixing back-end errors that prevented players from accessing the game.

In one of the biggest fixes, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’s “Zed 398 Swift Clover " glitch has been resolved. Both PC and PS5 players can rest easier, as they should have a smoother experience accessing the title. Outside of lobby issues, Treyarch has refined the spawn logic within Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’s Nuketown ‘84 to stop some of the spawn glitches that players saw. This problem has plagued the community since the map made its first appearance, so the developers decided to repair it at the same time as they added a new winter variant.

Fans have long been waiting for the developers to repair the spawning issues on Nuketown. After players discovered that traditional exploits still worked on the re-imagined map, the community was unsure if the developers would intervene. However, Treyarch has patched problems and made Nuketown a more enjoyable experience for the game’s community.

It seems that this patch is designed to stabilize the game and make it play better for the general audience. More improvements to Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War are sure to catch fan attention as many players are hoping for solutions to a variety of concerns.

Adjusted spawn logic.

Raid

Addressed an issue where players could capture the first Hardpoint zone outside of the intended boundary.

Modes

Prop Hunt

Disabled automatic health regen for Props. Removed the Steel Chair from the Prop list on Checkmate. Steel Chair OP.

Combined Arms: Assault

20 seconds will now be added to the game clock when a zone is captured to reduce the frequency of a game-ending in a Draw due to lack of time when transitioning to a new zone.

“Behind Cover” Weapon Camo Challenge

Increased the distance check. Removed the requirement for the victim to face a certain direction.

ZOMBIES

Stability

Addressed an issue that could cause instability during Plaguehound rounds. Added various stability fixes.

Die Maschine

Addressed a rare issue that could cause interact prompts to incorrectly appear around the map.

GLOBAL

UI

Improved breadcrumb (green dot) user experience when unlocking attachments. Addressed an issue that could cause long wait times going into the After Action Report.

Temporarily removed the Attack Helicopter from Verdansk and Rebirth Island maps to resolve an issue that could cause players to appear invisible.
