The menu showcases the four main modes available in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War: Campaign, Zombies, Multiplayer, and Warzone. While little has been said thus far about Black Ops Cold War’s take on the free-to-play battle royale, it will likely have new vehicles and locations from the Cold War era. Warzone’s current vehicles had to be removed for a short time due to game-breaking bugs, but were re-added through a patch.

The main menu features an image connected to each mode when one of the four options is hovered over. A first look at the newest iteration of Call of Duty Zombies was also shown during the multiplayer reveal, with a short clip featuring a horror aesthetic and confirming the return of a fan-favorite weapon, the monkey bomb.

The Black Ops Cold War main menu’s design is simple, ensuring players should not have trouble getting wherever they want to go. Despite having a separate mode for 12v12 play called Combined Arms, there is only one multiplayer section in the menu. According to Call of Duty news site Charlie Intel, theater mode can also be selected within the multiplayer submenu.

How detailed each submenu is remains unclear based on the main menu screenshot. While the Black Ops 4 main menu was also basic, each subsection changed the menu’s background and music. Players could also select which submenu they started in for some older Call of Duty games, so those who only played Call of Duty Zombies could begin in the Zombies section. Whether that small feature returns in Black Ops Cold War is unclear as of this writing.

Players will get their own look at the main menu, and the game’s actual content, when the Black Ops Cold War beta arrives on October 8. Until then, at least players are able to take a look at what they can expect to see when they start the game up thanks to content creators.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will be available November 13th on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X versions are also in development.
