The Digital Deluxe edition of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 includes a download of the full game, the Black Ops pass, digital bonus items, 2,400 COD pints, and if pre-ordered, access to the private beta. While the special edition is something many may clamor for, the contents of the Black Ops Pass should have the attention of any COD fan.

The Black Ops pass offers day-one access to the “Classified” Zombie Experience, as well as four brand new zombie experiences. Moreover, it also includes 12 multiplayer maps and 4 exclusive Blackout characters. For some, the latter may be a bit of a concern. Check out the Digital Deluxe edition and the Black Ops Pass below:

Fans of the game may worry about the 4 exclusive Blackout characters, especially if the characters come with special abilities. If not and the characters are simple skins, then it shouldn’t be a big deal. However, if they are somehow unique, Treyarch could be hit with pay-to-win accusations. Considering the size of the Blackout mode is currently unknown, we will just have to wait and see at launch.

Another key aspect of this Black Ops Pass is the inclusion of Zombies, especially after rumors indicated Black Ops 4 could have a Zombies-only Season Pass. While Zombies compose a solid portion of the Black Ops Pass, Multiplayer and Blackout are still present, which means this rumor is at least somewhat untrue. As more is learned about the game and the Black Ops Pass, however, this could change.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 releases October 12, 2018, for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
