The Grau was so strong in the meta that it was almost foolish to choose any other AR to melt enemies with. The accuracy, minimal recoil, and solid damage made it a nasty AR to come up against in a firefight. With that said, the FAL has shown some of the lowest recoil in tests conducted by players. A gun with a kick can throw players off, causing missed shots and often leading to quick deaths.

There are two FAL loadouts that should give players a decent setup to drop into Verdansk with or hold their own in a tense battle on the Scrapyard map. While experimenting with new guns like the powerful Rytec AMR sniper rifle can be fun, sometimes revisiting a staple can also be worthwhile.

If dropping into a Warzone match, this loadout should be one to seriously consider:

Monolithic Suppressor XRK Marksman Barrel G. I. Mini Reflex Optic Commando Foregrip 30 Round Mags

These attachments stabilize the gun, help with accuracy, and increase its damage range. The FAL was given a boost to headshot potential, so optimizing the loadout to take advantage of that is the name of the game here. The suppressor and barrel attachments address the damage range, reduce recoil, and increase bullet velocity to really take advantage of the recent buff. With concerns about hackers in Warzone dominating conversations, being able to quickly dispatch enemies becomes even more important.

If a player is looking to take a FAL into Modern Warfare multiplayer, then this loadout might be the one to go with:

XRK Marksman Tac Laser G. I. Mini Reflex Commando Foregrip 24 Round Mags

With Modern Warfare multiplayer, most players’ encounters with enemies are in close quarters, so range can be sacrificed in favor of quick ADS times. On tight maps like the ever-popular Shipment map, speed is key. This loadout drops the suppressor in favor of the Tac Laser to give a boost to ADS and swaps in 24 Round Mags for the same reason.

There are a number of ways to fill a loadout depending on the play style a player wants to pursue. If run-and-gun is the style of choice, players will have completely different setups from players who camp. The FAL is a gun that can be adapted to work for a number of Warzone loadout styles and can be an asset to players whether they choose to hop into Warzone or traditional Modern Warfare multiplayer.
