Cafe Enchante is a visual novel with vivid anime-style art. The story Cafe Enchante tells will bring the player, taking on the role of cafe-owner Kotone, into close contact with several out-of-this-world characters. Not only will Kotone have to deal with these non-human beings, but also the government organization tracking them.

The trailer for Cafe Enchante that debuted during the New Game+ Expo introduced players to the game’s non-humans. There appear to be five men in total. A “cheating” king of demons and a “loving” angel are two of them. A third is a “gentle” knight in a magical suit of armor that can remove its helmet/head. Fourth is a “softie” demon beast. Finally, there’s a “mature” special agent. Clearly, shenanigans are in store.
There’s one final interesting detail about Cafe Enchante worth noting. That’s that Cafe Enchante is going to be exclusive for the Nintendo Switch, at least according to the initial announcement from Aksys Games. Stay tuned for more information about the visual novel in the months to come.
